About Me

Aspiring screenwriter, formal poet, bad actor, amateur martial artist and undiscovered athlete.Β  Me and Tom Cruise have one similarity; height :D. I write because : Writing is a form of therapy; sometimes I wonder how all those who do not write, compose or paint can manage to escape the madness, melancholia, the panic and fear which is inherent in a human situation”. Graham Greene

Β I love nature mom especially innocent animals, birds, forests, calm lakes, noisy beaches, green mountains, noisy rivers and streams. I love winter and rain especially when its long nights of winter with slow and peaceful raining.

I love exercising, walking aimlessly and swimming. I love playing cricket and soccer (although played soccer rarely in whole life). I love dreaming and thinking. I love socializing (but with nice people and it happens after long time) so most of time I love being alone like a bird away from its nest in evening.

Writing is an art and you know art is an awesome way to escape from unacceptable realities and dirty facts of the world. Writing and reading is mind exercise and these keep fit your soul. Thanks to WordPress where I’m connected with like minded people. The people who feel, think and act like me. When I log in on WordPress I feel like what Andy ( Tom Robbins) feels after escaping from The Shawshank Redemption.

  1. thanks for liking a couple of my recent posts on my Not In India blog. And thanks for bringing me here where I look forward to exploring further as well. πŸ™‚ You might also like my India Journal Blog where I will now be posting almost daily as I head back to wonderful India once again. πŸ™‚

      • Yes, I know…and thought you would certainly like the photos over the past number of years…both of people and landscapes…there is a recent 8 part series called “faces of India” which you might enjoy. thanks again. πŸ™‚

  2. Keep writing! I always think it is important to follow your heart and do what you love… even if it is only as a hobby!

  4. Hi Nafees, my friend. Keep writing (you’re good), never give up, even when it seems there is no way. There always is! It is a pleasure to meet you and I like your blog site very much! Penny

  5. Former screenwriter here too… I gave up the conquest of Hollywood when I understood I’d be hired to rewrite other people screenplays – when all I wanted was to see my own stories on the silver screen! Hence I went back to my first love, prose, and live happily ever after! πŸ™‚
Best wishes and thanks for stopping by my blog!

    • its nice o know WOW yeah its bad with Hollywood filmmakers that they got money but lack of wisdom and it sucks. I had many challneges to be a screenwriter. First, I wasnt in States, second English wasnt my native language and more still am dependent :(. You got sense of humor too and its so nice πŸ˜€

  6. As many said here- don’t give up! Strive for your dreams. Do everything you can, try your best.We need more people like you,,You never know, you might be the best screenwriter. You would become famous, have a lot of money and people will like you because you are real.

    Thanks.

    • awwwwwwwwwwww thanks a lot, Victoria πŸ™‚ But facts are facts, right now am totally father dependent so just what I can think about is job and money to live an independent life first. You know better that because you’re an American and know worth of Independence. Right now dreams are plan B and necessities are first priority you know.

  7. You really do love a lot of things. Love is good.

Don’t feel too old too soon. lol Save the old feeling for when you are really old.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. πŸ™‚

  8. Thank you for liking one of my posts. You have a pretty interesting weblog here; I shall have to stop by from time to time.

  9. Thank you so much. Nice to meet you too! Hope your day has been well. Where I am at, it is brutally cold…the kind of cold that burns when it hits your skin… I don’t like the cold! I prefer Spring or Summer! Definitely not an artic person! LOL

    • welcome and thank you too πŸ™‚ I love cold because I live in warmer reign and if you dont like cold then it means you live in a colder reign, simple math πŸ˜€ have an awesome weekend πŸ™‚

  10. I live in the Eastern half of the USA. So I get all of the seasons… spring, summer, fall, winter. Where I live, there is no adjusting during this time..because one day will be very warm, then the next day can be really cold. Makes the cold colder and the hot hotter! Basically, I have a balance of all of them. In the summer, it can get up in the 100’s and winter below zero. Fun! LOL!

    • the wow πŸ™‚ enjoy your life there. I applied for US student visa but it didnt work, my university was Minnesota State University, Mankato, too cold there but I was happy.I love cold weather especially raining πŸ˜‰

  11. Now I love the rain..thunderstorms especially…at night is my favorite when I am going to sleep..only the storms that don’t uproot trees and throw them on houses, or knock the power out for days or weeks at a time. But yes, I do love the rain.

    • oh yeah same here, who’d love evil storms. But no problem with thunder rain especially if you’ve watched Ted then you’d have loved scene when Ted and Mark Wahlberg sing thunder buddy song πŸ˜€

  12. πŸ˜‰ I’ve always loved thunderstorms at night..it’s peaceful. White noise. Now when I was a kid, I was horrified and would lay there for hours thinking the thunder monster was going to bust through my window and get me! ha ha ha!

  13. I did not read your gravatar yet. sorry… πŸ˜‰ .I looked at your about me page here and looked through some of your posts at your pictures and writings. But now that you said this, I just clicked on it and looked… now I see!

Are you and your family doing well? I have been praying for the people in Pakistan, and I know a man there (over the internet) and his wife who helps people…poor people, sick people..homeless..he is born and raised in Pakistan.

  14. You’re welcome. There are good people everywhere..and I think in times of struggle, that many people ‘don’t’ think of the good innocent people who are affected. I do. We are all people getting through each and every day, waking up to start over and going to sleep the same… we are all people with a heart that beats because God allows it…one heartbeat away from the last. We all have people we love and are precious to us, and we are loved by someone. I try to remember this in all times and to pray for the good, the bad, and the in between alike.

  15. Nafees, please, you have liked every post I have ever posted, and while I appreciate the attention, I would much more appreciate some comments or feedback from you. I understand if you do not have time to read my posts, as they are quite long, and if so, don’t feel obligated to hit Like.

  16. Hi Nafees, thanks for stopping by my blog. First things first. Hope you had a great birthday!! Secondly, I have to agree with you that writing is a form of therapy. It definitely is for me. Your blog looks pretty interesting and I’ll be back after the holidays to look at it even more.

  17. For a writer, words paint the picture of the soul. Nafees, your soul has vibrant colours and rich textures. Such depth. I looked at the pictures of your village – lush and green – which you describe it as ‘heaven with hell people’. I can relate to that sentiment.
I live in a city and in the summer I love to see the deep-green wildflowers that springs unexpectedly from cracks in the pavement. Something beautiful to delights those who take the time to see. I bless you Nafees to find The One whose soul will sing in harmony with yours…

    • aw thanks a lot, Vera πŸ™‚ thats a really awesome compliment for me, my blog and my village too. You’re so nice person yourself. Thanks again for visiting and reading.

  18. Nice blog. I will be checking out some of your movie reviews. If you get a chance take a look at my movie blog. πŸ™‚

    • aw thanks a lot, Joshi. Your words are like a great award for me. My main purpose from writing is that I could find my love here. If my words impressed you then maybe they would impress my partner somewhere too. Good eve

  20. Nafees, thank you for dropping by Malcolm’s Corner and liking ‘Eccentrics, Those Very Peculiar People’. I feel like we already know each somewhat from hanging out at The Savvy Senorita πŸ™‚

    • aw thanks a lot, my dear Kavita πŸ™‚ You know I’m “Kavi” and you’re my kavita πŸ˜‰ best wishes and thanks again for the award

  21. Thanks so much for stopping by seekdarelove. I also am a Capricorn and feel, think, love deeply – which can only be a good thing! Keep following your passion!

  22. I hope you will find your soul mate here. My husband and I met on the internet and have been married 13 years. I believe WordPress – or blogs in general – could be a great place to meet someone because you can discuss topics of interest to you and the other has more than a few seconds to digest what you said. Hoping all is well…

      • I would enjoy that, but I notice that it is 3:01 in the morning your time now and I am headed to sleep now…it is 11:08 pm here and right round my bedtime (spent all last weekend working at a ProAm Motocross Race and am bushwhacked still! πŸ™‚ Will check my mail tomorrow A.M. Really enjoy your blog. Thanks for sharing your self. ~D

      • oh yeah. btw its 8:12 AM here now. Its late night there. Take rest and enjoy sleep and sweet dreams. thanks a lot. Nice talking you.

    • Hi, most welcome and thank you too for liking back. I’m fine, fasting month in muslim world you know so Im doing that, blogging, photography and watching movies.

      • A colleague of mine is also muslim and fasting. Here in Latvia the days are pretty long and the nights are relatively short. I guess with the right mind set he is fine.
I do like the pictures of the environment of your home town. It seems so peaceful.

      • good to know. but for long days :(. even thats okay if Latvia has cold weather. Thanks for liking the pics. You can view more pics on my Facebook page.

  24. I do agree that writing is indeed a good form of therapy. I am a non-writer as well, but every time I write, it helps me de-stress.

  27. You seem like a lovely person. Who knows, maybe you’ll become an actor one day, although, I don’t personally think it would be very enjoyable. Too much attention and I wouldn’t want money to make me forget whats really important which is to love God and others of course!

  28. Hi there. Glad I found this blog. You have built a very impressive site! I blog on everything from politics to film review. Would be lovely if you can follow back. Thank you!
